I was told to write I book. I wrote it.

I was told to start a publishing company. I am now a publisher.

I was told to publish the book I wrote. Life is Like Making Chocolate Chip Cookies was published in January of this year.

I was told to market my book. For the little bit of marketing I have done the book is selling well.

Nothing was mentioned about a business plan. So now, what do I do? Where do I go from here?

I know folks who create a stunning business plan, sometimes with the help of a coach or accountant, and then never look at it again. I try to look at mine every quarter and as a result my business plan today looks a lot different than it did a couple of years ago, but I also sometimes jump into things and get well into the rabbit hole before I stop to think about how it will impact my business or marketing plan. What's your approach, and what's working well for you?
