| Yep, I have tape recorder that I carry everywhere, when I remember it. I went to take it to bed the other night and didn't have any tapes. I have to start going through the 50+ tapes I have to write down what is on them and reuse them. I recommend the recorders to others too. Thanks for the input! |

| Have you tried a digital recorder that you can keep in your pocket? Even some cell phones let you record small messages. Pam goes through a lot of Post-it Notes! |

| I have a notebook and pen right next to the bed on my nightstand. That has helped a lot, except when I am just too tired to even lift my head. It will all come together when it is suppose to. At least that is what I keep telling myself. |

| Yes Sue, and I call it too many frypans in the fire. The solution for me (which does work much of the time) is to keep a little notebook (or sometimes a stack of those really big sticky notes) beside my bed so that I capture those thoughts when they show up--most often in the middle of the night! |

| That seems to be my most difficult thing to do: finding the time to write. My head is so full of stuff. I have just come to realize that as long as I stay in my bedroom all the thoughts keep circling around. When I have finally found the energy to descend my staircase those thoughts get shoved to the back, only to reappear when there is no paper or pencil available. When I walk down the stairs in the morning it all seems to vanish for a time while the necessities of the day push in. And yet, somewhere in close to me there is a niggling of a muse with words and thoughts that bombard me. I just don't have the time to write it all down. So it is lost. "Forever?" you might ask. No, I believe that it comes back to me in other forms or other times. But for the moment, poof.

Do you have a problem with this? |
