A coaching colleague of mine here in Toronto, Jennifer Britton, has produced a manual entitled "Engaging Exercies for Teams and Groups." I am fortunate enough to have one of her last manuals in print, so that's helpful for me!!

Jennifer is an expert trainer and facilitator, and has lots of ideas on her website http://www.groupcoachingessentials.com/

When you are training or facilitating, it's pretty standard to kick the session off with an engaging icebreaker or energizing activity. As a trainer though, relying on the same activity can get pretty boring.
I try to re-tool activities to fit the group that I am working with, and so am constantly looking for new material.
Where do you get your ideas for icebreakers and energizers from? Are there particular books or websites that you go to? Do you have a "stash" or favourites?
If you could share them here, that would be marvellous!
